Bachelor's Degree
Mission:
Educating creative artists who are able to create performances through the rich expressive potential of the puppet, the actor and the synthesis actor-puppet.
Admission exams:
Candidates are expected to prepare in advance, as audition materials, of their own choice: 2 fables, 2 poems, an excerpt from a tale or a prose text; 1 monologue from a comedy and 3 songs – folk, children or modern, their own project in written form, based on ideas from literature, music, fine arts. Candidates submit samples of their own work that represents their interests and abilities.
Stage I
Part 1
Performance of the audition materials and of stage tasks assigned by the evaluation panel.
Part 2
Performance of the prepared project and defense of its stage realization. Creative tasks based on materials proposed by the evaluation panel.
Stage II (anonymous)
Written analysis of an assigned theme from tales and plays for puppet theatre. Duration: 6 hours
Stage III
Interview with the candidates based on their written analyses. The aim is to test the candidates’ artistic taste, their knowledge and interests in the fields of the arts (puppet theatre, music, painting, cinema, ballet, literature, history and others).
